PORTICO (The Grey Brown Natural Umber. Aesthetic, Balanced, Elegant).

Another Wall Painting from the A Series exploring architectural and graphic proportions and dimensions. 

This one comprises of an A6 sized aluminium panel painted to match Le Corbusier’s “Ombré Naturelle Moyenne (3214)” – also the source of the title – from his collection of 63 Poychromie Architecturale colours.

The top of the portico is formed by a triangular slab of solid acrylic paint based on a cross-section of Trellick Tower’s listed concrete wall that is scheduled for demolition.
